SLS and Enerpac conducted a "New Products and Workshop Safety" seminar in Terengganu, Malaysia, on 7th April 2016. The seminar was held to engage customers from a variety of industries, and to inform them about the new products and solutions that Enerpac could offer. Throughout the full day seminar, participants learned how Enerpac products could help create advantage in their operations.

Topics covered included bolting solutions, hydraulic tools, pumps, hydraulic cylinders and lifting products.

The seminar consisted of both theoretical presentations, where customers gained more knowledge of the full range of Enerpac products and services; and technical demonstrations, where customers were able to get directly involved and try out some of the new products for themselves.

The seminar was a joint collaboration between SLS Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Enerpac SE Asia, the first of a series of roadshows planned this year for Southeast Asia. The objective of these seminars is to share knowledge about hydraulic efficiency and safety with customers, as well as to gain valuable feedback on customers' needs and concerns in return.

The entire seminar was structured so as to facilitate two-way communication. Ample time was allocated after every presentation for questions on the specific product range just presented. A Q&A session was also included at the end of the event. Customers were able to ask questions on product features of interest to them, as well as how these features could aid their individual operational needs.

Valuable feedback was also gained through customers' sharing of their challenges and concerns specific to their industry needs. The team of Enerpac and SLS specialists was able to understand better the customers' needs. Appropriate industry-specific solutions were then offered as to how Enerpac products could specifically help increase efficiency and safety.

Many customers found the demo sessions extremely helpful, as they were able to witness firsthand how the specific products worked, such as the hydraulic nut cutter and the ATM flange alignment series. In fact, based on feedback gained, this section turned out to be the feature customers enjoyed most.

There was even time for several customers to share what they learned at the event. Judging from the positive feedback, it was certainly a beneficial and enriching experience for most. SLS and Enerpac are planning to hold more of such similar roadshows in the following months in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Specific details will be distributed to customers in due course
